We know that attending your first BNI meeting can be scary! Don't worry though as the meetings are very structured and our visitor hosts will be on hand to help you.
You should aim to arrive at about 6:45 am - you'll be asked to sign in and pay £13 for breakfast. See venue details.
Our friendly visitor hosts will greet you with tea, coffee, or juice and start to introduce you to the other members and visitors for open networking before breakfast is served. This is a great opportunity for you to work out who you'd like to do business with.
This is your opportunity to introduce yourself to the chapter and to tell us what you do. More importantly, tell us what type of referral you would like. Use this checklist:
Make sure you bring loads of business cards as members tend to take two or three each.
Following the 60-second round are some reports from the leadership team before moving swiftly on to the 10-minute speaker.
Each week, one of the members makes a 10-minute presentation, when they can go into detail about their work and what sort of referrals they would like from fellow members.
This takes place during the contribution round, when members pass referrals and testimonials to each other. We don't expect visitors to pass referrals (but you can if you want to), so instead we ask you to comment on the meeting when it's your turn. This could be on anything from the quality of the breakfast to our warm and friendly welcome, etc!
The meeting closes by 8:30 am, but many members stay behind for more open networking.
We meet at the Cooden Beach Hotel in Bexhill, every Wednesday at 06:45. Why not pay us a visit?
